Dream Cruise Taiwan 2014

2014 was the first time Dream Cruise hosted this event, which was organized by the Taiwan Tourism Bureau in Hong Kong and Star Cruises (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd.

 

The purpose is to entertain primary school students from grassroots families who have excellent academic standing. They are encouraged to look at the world, experience being nature through an immersive cruise experience.

 

The program's objective is to cultivate virtues of self-love, respect and appreciation of nature. The event hosted free admission to 17 elementary schools, 60 elementary school students, teachers and parents from Hong Kong to visit Kaohsiung and Taichung on Star Cruises for a four-day, three-night sea trip.

 

In addition to sightseeing, students also learned skills such as table manners and team building, for an outside classroom experience.
